Here more than anywhere else I'd like to you play with formatting. You're a storyteller Orvis, and one of the ways to tell a story is through the experience of time on the page. All the lines kept together, because of the quick sound of the "tick tock," read quickly. If you spaced them out, some closer, some farther, or all uniformly far, anything you want--you could actually have an intriguing inferred narrative. Play with it.
Visual art and audio are not acceptable unless you are able to provide textual references. So, your post can include a picture or sculpture or audial selection that you are writing about or somehow tying in to your written work. However, these things alone will not suffice. There must be text involved, even if it's only a single line. This blog isn't about creation alone. It's about the written word.
